Just four years ago Alex and Benolyn Craig purchased their first investment rental property in Memphis to take care of a family situation. Once rented, they discovered an opportunity for a nice cash flow and return on investment. From that first experience, they decided to start buying as many opportunities as they could.
This eventually led to opening a business to provide a complete turnkey service for individuals who wanted to own cash flow investment rental properties, but didn’t have the time or knowledge to do so. Offering variations of services, their core business model is to purchase a property, fix it up, place a qualified tenant and set up property management so that individuals who purchase our properties walk into immediate income.
Now in their fourth year of business the Craig's have bought and sold over 150 properties, mostly to out of state and international investors. Interesting enough, Craig says Australians have purchased many of their properties. They are buying Memphis properties in large bulks. “I think we would see some more local interest if it were not for our local media putting such a negative spin on being a landlord,” says Craig.
